Suspect on the run after brandishing knife at Tokyo DisneySea hotel

Police are currently searching for a man after he allegedly brandished a knife at a hotel in the Tokyo DisneySea theme park in the city of Urayasu, in Chiba Prefecture, on Monday evening.
According to NHK, at approximately 8:10 p.m police received calls from a staff member at the Hotel MiraCosta saying that a man had entered the hotel’s banquet hall and pulled out a knife from his backpack, brandishing it in front of guests and staff.
The man then fled the scene through the entrance of the hotel towards Maihama Station. No one was harmed during the incident.
The knife was approximately 20 centimeters long, according to reports by broadcaster TBS.
The suspect is said to be around 30 to 40 years old and between 175 cm and 180 cm tall, with a slim build, wearing a black shirt and long pants and carrying a backpack.
Police are working on tracking down his whereabouts by analyzing security camera footage.
