Oman-Uzbekistan business forum explores available investment opportunities

Muscat: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry today organized the Oman-Uzbekistan Business Forum to explore investment opportunities in both countries.

On the sidelines of the business forum, OCCI and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost joint cooperation. Several MoUs were also signed between Omani and Uzbek companies.

During the forum, several presentations highlighted the prominent components of the investment, tourism and economic milieu in Oman, as well as facilities and incentives offered to investors in various fields.

Further, Several B2B meetings were held between Omani and Uzbek businesspeople.

Moreover, a meeting was held between Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Baxtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This meeting explored means of boosting business and investment cooperation between the two countries.
