Police were led on a 50km chase up the New South Wales coast after a man in his 50s died in a home invasion on Saturday.

A man has been charged with murder after a deadly home invasion and then a 50km police chase on the northern NSW coast.
A man in his 50s died at a home in the village of Iluka north of Coffs Harbour on Saturday afternoon, before another man was eventually arrested more than 50km north in the township of Woodburn.
The 41-year-old will face court on Sunday, charged with murder, predatory driving, as well as not stopping and driving dangerously during a police pursuit.
Police will allege the 41-year-old forced his way into a home in Iluka armed with a knife about 4.30pm on Saturday.
A 58-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and died at the scene.
Police set up a crime scene and began investigating.
In a statement, police say a short time later officers tried to stop a 4WD ute being driven north on the Pacific Highway.
The driver allegedly did not stop.
At the township of Woodburn, 53km north, police set tyre spikes.
