Manish Pandey will miss Kolkata Knight Riders' next few games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to chicken pox, according to reports on Saturday (April 23).
Pandey in the last few seasons has established himself as one of the batting mainstays in Kolkata's middle-order.
However, the right-hander hasn't set the stage on fire this season but has managed to make crucial contributions with scores of 15 not out, 52, 11 not out and 12 in the first four games.
Kolkata are at the top of the table with three wins from four games and have a number of batsmen to fit into their playing XI. Sheldon Jackson and R Satish are the front runners to take Pandey's spot till the batsman recovers.
Kolkata will next play Rising Pune Supergiants in Pune on Sunday (April 24).
